Multi-Platform Event Tracking for GO Unity Wireless

The Challenge:

Our client, GO Unity Wireless, offers free internet services through a Shopify and Telgoo5-based platform. To qualify, users had to go through a detailed questionnaire process with multiple steps from checking their address to completing the purchase.

But there was a problem.

  • Their tracking was messy and inconsistent.
  • Events were being counted twice because of Pixel and CAPI overlaps.
  • With campaigns running on 7 platforms (Google, GA4, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest), the data was all over the place.

This made it hard for the team to trust their reports, optimize campaigns, and confidently measure ROI. What they really needed was a clean, reliable tracking system that could bring all their data together in one accurate view.

How We Managed It:

We stepped in to simplify and strengthen their tracking setup. Our approach was built around accuracy, consistency, and scalability.

  • Pixel & CAPI Integration

We connected all tracking through Google Tag Manager (Web + Server containers) and used Stape.io server-side tagging. This gave them faster performance and much more control over their data.

  • Tracking the Entire Customer Journey

We mapped and tracked every key interaction, including:

  2. Initiate Checkout
  3. Add Payment
  4. Purchase

This meant nothing slipped through the cracks.

  • Fixing Deduplication Issues

We built a system to eliminate double counting by syncing Pixel and CAPI events across all 7 platforms. Every action was tracked once and only once.

  • Multi-Platform Optimization

We aligned event tracking across Google, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest so campaign managers could finally compare results side by side and optimize with confidence.
